Blackberry Curve 9360:
Blackberry Curve 9360 is one of OS 7 device that announced by RIM this year beside Bold 9900 / 30, Torch 9810, and Torch 9850 / 60. This new Curve has alot of ugrade such as Design and Camera. Okay Let's Get started.
Design and Hardware:
The design is definitely the most striking quality of the BlackBerry Curve 9360. The wedge-shaped edges make the whole package a slim, pocketable sliver of a phone. The bottom layer of the device consists of a black, glossy battery cover, which peels off easily to reveal the usual innards. This cover fits into a matte-finished, charcoal-colored middle layer that houses various fixtures and fittings, including a very discreet volume rocker on the top right corner, an equally invisible (yet tactile) dedicated camera button on the bottom right, a micro-USB on the top left, plus the speaker, 5MP camera lens and flash on the back side. Finally, the uppermost layer is glossy black again and encompasses the entire front face of the handset, while also curving round the top and bottom edges in keeping with the whole 'curve' theme. Notably, the top edge has become the new home of the 3.5mm headphone output, which will come as a welcome change from the pocket-warping side-mounted port on previous Curves.
Indeed this smartphone has a thinner dimension rather than the old curve, it's only 11 mm thick, versus the old Curve 3G that was 14 mm.
Camera:
Though the camera now enjoys an LED flash, and the 5 megapixel sensor is a solid step up from the 2 megapixel unit in the old 9300, it's still fixed focus (meaning poor close-up photos like the 9900).
Software:
The UI was generally fluid despite the 800MHz processor, presumably because the low-res screen prevents the chip from being taxed too hard. However, the browser seemed tardy when surfing in desktop mode. Pages took too long to render as we scrolled down, suggesting that this phone will really be limited to the mobile versions of web pages.
Overall This is one of Best Curve so far. And as always, BlackBerry excels in messaging, be it e-mail, social networking, instant messaging or otherwise, but if you need anything more than that, be it in the way of apps, battery life, camera quality, or screen size, there are plenty of more palatable options at the entry-level.Personally I love the design of the device is "Smooth" and "Slim".
